I have been a professional copywriter for 10 years, firstly in-house with a translation company, then for five years at Writing Machine, one of the few dedicated writing companies in the UK, where I was head of writing.

Most recently, I worked as a senior editor at COI, the government agency that provides a broad range of marketing and advertising services to the public sector. I worked closely with in-house designers and with a range of agencies, including leading contract publishers and branding specialists.

Across all this writing experience, I’ve dealt with complex information, impenetrable concepts and heavyweight jargon. My skills lie in turning this into something easy to follow and enjoyable to read.

Since becoming freelance in April 2007, I've worked with a wide range of agencies on material from government benefits to superyachts to delicious fresh fruit juice. I turn round work quickly and aim to provide a professional service to all clients.
